A project has an intent. It runs until the thing is understood. Then it changes shape, or it ends. We wanted to be honest about that.

Calling it a project means the work chooses us as much as we choose it. It means we can follow the questions we care about wherever they go, without pretending we saw it coming.

You get someone who cares about your idea as much as you do. We stay until it works, not until the invoice clears. The unglamorous middle is where we do our best work.
